I had him out to fit a saddle a few years ago, didn't end up buying a saddle from him but wasn't pushy at all and didn't charge anything to come out. But my friend and I visited the shop a couple of months ago, lovely shop but shop assistants were too busy chatting and texting on their phones to...
My pony had laminitis for the first time ever last year:( (ive owned her 21 years). She has always been in the same field and the only thing I changed last year was putting the Suregrow fertiliser on the field, never fertilised in the past so be careful applying any fertiliser to fields for...
Fertilised my field with it last year but wont be using it again tbh, its expensive for what it is and grass never really improved as they said it would, heard a few people say the same.
So sorry to hear about your loss, I lost both my horses to unrelated colic within 6 months of each other in 2011, its such an awful condition and happens to quickly. I still miss them both everyday
Fantastic stuff, my horse used to have loose dropping after any slight changes to her diet such as a different batch of hay, a new field etc. I now use Protexin gut balancer in her feed every day and the quick fix paste if her droppings are really loose, her digestive system seems to be very...
Not yet and hopefully wont be doing until December at least. Its the first time I have actually looked after my fields this year and applied Suregrow fertiliser in the spring and again a couple of weeks ago to help it over the winter, cant believe the difference in the quality of the grass...
If you are still looking for tickets keep trying.
I tried and tried to get dressage tickets as desperately wanted to go - then last night I thought I would give it one last try and managed to get one for today!! Just got home from an absolutely amazing day watching the dressage, topped off...
With the wet weather we have been having, how are your fields coping with all the rain?
My field seems to be just about coping but hoof prints everywhere and worried it will get really churned up if we have anymore rain. Our neighbours have had to go back to winter turnout regime as they have...
I can highly recommend Suregrow fertiliser aswell, my grass has never looked so good. Its specifically designed for horse paddocks and safe to turn horses out straight after its put on the field, ideal for me as i just have the one field.
We put Suregrow fertiliser on our paddock about 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say it has never looked better.
I didnt want the farmer putting the normal fertiliser on this year, think it was 20:10:10, as my horse got colic last year which I am sure was down to the grass going quickly and...
Thanks everyone for your replies.
I'll find out some more information on the breeding, unfortunately doesnt say the horse's name or breeding on the advert.
I'm looking for a horse to use as an alrounder really, mainly focussing on dressage and showing but I do like to have a jump...
Hi,
Im currently looking to buy a horse after loosing my mare last year, been looking for 4 months now but not having good experiences.
I've seen a very well bred full Cleveland Bay for sale locally which seems to tick the boxes but dont know much about the breed. Does anyone own a...
I think there will be plenty of haylage left over from last year as the winter has been so mild. We still have 200 big bales of haylage left to sell from 2011 harvest but nobody seems to want it!
Hi,
I used Suregrow for the first time on my fields last year and couldnt believe what a difference it made. The grass didnt shoot up tall very quickly, which happened a few year ago when we used a high nitrogen agricultural fertiliser giving my horse colic. Suregrow seemed to make the grass...
