I was wondering too, lost track after mention of WHW. The mart is less than half an hour from me, was thinking of paying a visit. Noticed the sale list had the two ponies in their 30's. Perhaps WHW should have been contacted first instead of SSPCA but I'm not familiar with the whole story.

I've read on another forum from someone who used to work with circus liberty horses that this is an old staged act. This horse never objects too much or loses balance, the rider's legs are thrown clear and the horse doesn't get jabbed in the mouth. Taught along the same lines as circus acrobats...

There is a huge Clydesdale horse show in my area every year and most have their tails shaved and with ribbons in. It is supposed to show off the quarters better but without docking. Last year there was one young colt that had been bred in Canada and imported to Scotland and had his tail docked...
