Hi there, it is like high blowing, in terms of what is sounds like, but its mainly in trot and not in a rhythm like your video above. It's like he's clearing himself, then he'll continue on for a bit and then snort again and sometimes, stretch out and pull the reins out of my hands.
My horse constantly snorts in trot and canter (to a lesser extent in walk) when schooling. It's not seasonal, as has been ongoing during the winter. I originally thought it was a stress thing, but he does it on days he's feeling tense and on days he's feeling relaxed. It doesn't improve at...
Hi, could you recommend a sympathetic dressage trainer with experience of young horses who'd be willing to travel to a yard in the North Cotswolds (Chipping Norton/Moreton in Marsh area) to teach and occasionally get on themselves?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm looking for a full or part livery yard in South Warks, around Shipston on Stour, or south of Shipston towards Moreton in Marsh. I'm after somewhere with a nice arena, reasonable hacking and all year turnout.
Any recommendations gratefully received as I'm struggling to find anywhere in...
Hi, I'm looking for a livery yard around Chipping Norton, or West over the border into North Gloucestershire, South Warwickshire. I'm after full or part livery. Does anyone have any recommendations please?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I'm looking for full or part livery in or around Chipping Norton, Bourton on the Water, Moreton in Marsh. My ideal yard would have an arena, all year turnout and reasonable hacking. It's for a well behaved 16hh gelding. Could any offer recommendations? I'm happy to consider a private...
Hi, I'm considering getting some foot balance xrays done of my horse's feet as I'm unhappy with his shoeing. I was wondering if it was possible to get them done without taking the shoes off. His shoes have been on and off too often in recent weeks and his feet are breaking up, so I'd really...
I have owned my horse for about six months. He's a warmblood, bought as a project, he's 10 years old, but had been kept pretty much as a pet at a stud for the past five years and had lived in the same place since the age of three. I've been gradually bringing him back into work, and generally...
I'm about to invest in a couple of winter turnouts. Have already struggled with lightweight rugs not drying over the past month with the torrential rain we've had. Could I have any recommendations for rugs that dry fast and are good to go the next day?
Thanks in advance.
I have recently become the owner of a lovely 10yr old Warmblood gelding, who was produced as a dressage horse as a 4/5yr, then was just used as a hack for a couple of years and then, due to the owners circumstances was turned away for the past 18 months. Eventually I'd like to compete him in...
