Totally this ^^^ you can't have it both ways, i.e want the public attention and glory when things are going well (sic!)...and then not be answerable to the fans when things go wrong!
I have found the Equine Fusions to be very forgiving fit wise, you only need a length measurement with these. But they are not as hard wearing as some other products and if he is flat footed you might also want to get the dampening pads as the soles are fairly flexible. I also find that they do...
I don't think you would be able to re-use. You hit the nail on the head ;) when you said you need a strong glue to keep them on, therefore to get them off (u-tube vids) takes some serious prizing off, with a bit of rasping.
It is obvious for all to see, especially with the current spate of welfare cases reaching the news almost on a daily basis (usually coloured cobs of some type) that something has to be done as there are NOT enough homes for the number of horses we have in this country....and if that means a cull...
Really??? This is a totally dersiable comment! If they can't afford the outlay for 'one more' then they certainly can't afford to keep the ones they already have!!! and would be ill prepared for any emergancy situation and vets bills - say if any of the horses contracted strangles etc!!!
You...
lol, he's done nothing 'morally wrong'...is that why he got mentioned in the welfare section of H&H this week for trying to raffle a horse! hmmmm how very interesting
So does that mean the horse would be able to function normally and its senses would not be dulled? What would be the purpose of using such a drug in this case? When i read that it was a tranquilizer I could not understand why somebody would want to ride a horse around a 4* course on a dopped horse.
Wonderful resource group on FB where you can discuss and pick the brains of many owners with horses suffering and recovered PSD, some have gone the surgey route, some barefoot...and various other treatments.

Hi BlueFire710, sorry to hear about your horse, if you are on FB there is a group set up with nearly 200 members https://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/groups/255267791160904/ each of which has a different story to tell with regard to PSD. Some have opted for surgery others have taken different...
TBH doesn't sound as though she has changed her ways, i.e. bidding and buying a horse from a sale with no transport organised or anywhere to put it!!! and no recognition of any health problems etc. She shouldn't be allowed to take charge of a rocking horse let alone a real living breathing one!
Oh yes but when you try to talk sense and explain that the Racing Industry makes up a small % of the total horses kept in the UK, or that TB breeding in down over the past few years etc etc etc well you must be a bad person and condone abuse....try reasoning and mention that the whole equine...
It seems rather easy to blame the RSPCA, TS, MP's...whatever 'authority', but surely that is the end point in these whole sorry affairs. And whilst tougher legislation is needed in terms of 'Rescue Centres', lets not shy away from reviewing the real issues.
No no no, surely these sad and...
Yep mine lives out 24/7, and unrugged, but this year i may need to clip - racing style only, and he will be rugged to suit. No problem at all with clipping and wintering out as long as they have access to shelter, adlib hay and rugged to suit....much much healthier for them to live out! and a...
