    Probably not helpful but we're in south wales and the council rent us 2 fields, 3 acres + 3.5 acres for just over 600 a year on the condition we fenced it and maintained fencing so I would definitely give your local council a try

    15 acre field + stable = £30 per month Haylage = £30 ish pm Only during winter Straw = £30 only during winter Other feed = £20 pm about £50-£75 per year on wormers not sure about vet/farrier no lorry/trailer as i have use of a relatives when needed

    Does anyone know any good suppliers for any of the above in the swansea and gower area? The supplier I currently use sometimes runs out and twice now I have had to buy small haylage at £8 a bale for my local pet food supplier. Delivery preferable but might be able to pick up if needs be.
