Happy to travel to yard if it's the right one
Must offer full livery and be able to ride horse for me when away and ideally if possible a BS show is on at yard or they going to one jump the horse for me in a class
Indoor school a bonus but not a must as long as it has a decent outdoor...
Moving to Newcastle and looking for recommendation where to put my horse, I work offshore 2 weeks home 2 weeks away so need my horse kept in work for the 2 weeks I am away.
She is a show jumper currently doing 1.30/1.40 so need her kept to that level
I've seen the above 3 yards on Internet...
I've not liveried there before but unfortunately the reviews from people I know have been poor. Standard of care not as expected and scrimping on hay etc to horses.
But as I say that's not from personal experience just hear say.
I would not own a horse if I could not keep it on full livery
I have a job, a husband and other hobbies. Caring for a stabled horse full time is a time consuming job, one I don't have the time to do, as I'd rather spend my free time doing other stuff. I don't visit my horse daily only days...
I did exactly the same , wasted 2 years and buckets of cash on a horse that was just not for me
A few nasty injures and I finally seen the light
That horse is in a lovely he now and gets on good with new owners and I have my ultimate dream horse
I would never waste so much time again ...
Thanks
I can't take credit for riding as I'm not riding due to being 8 months preggers , a friend is, she is doing a amazing job with her, I'm very lucky to have her help.
So my lovely wee brood mare who I got just broken in Oct 2013 had her 4th BD show today and gained her Quals for the Open Noice Winter regionals - so chufted. She got 1st place and 68%.
She then went on to do her first Elementary and got 1st place with another score of 68%
I absolutely...
My yard is awesome, a full size mirror indoor and a full size mirrored outdoor, plus a outdoor jumping paddock
Only 19 horses on yard so schools are always free.
Staff actually care about horses welfare as does YO, they go over and above to make sure horses happy.
I'd not have my horse...
I had a 6 year old, bought as 4 year old, bucked me off on many occasions, spent thousands and thousands on horse being professionally schooled.
Horse never bucked pro's off only me. Had all the physical checks done, vets , thermo imagining, made to measure saddles
You name it I done it...
Hacking westropp knee / brushing boots
Jumping tendon boots
Schooling bandages and over reach boots, or schooling wraps.
She is Never ridden with naked legs
