As my post before, concerned also what happens to the donkeys in the winter months if they have no shelter as donkeys do not have waterproof coats like horses....

We have insured our stables with NFU for the past seven years, never claimed anything, it went up this year by 100% when I phoned to query it was told quite rudely to take it or leave it, needless to say I left it......

If it was my horse I would clean out with saline solution then call the vet out in case there was a foreign body in there and it might need a couple of stitches. NO POWDER in case needs stitching.
