I really like mine, although I never leave them on for more than 10mins max. Normally at the end of XC they go on straight away while I wash B off and then come off as soon as he is washed off and go back in the ice bucket - then I take studs out and walk if necessary and then boots go back on...
With difficulty!! I found the best thing was climbing on top of the tack locker in the lorry and rest the horses head on my shoulder and then squish the first third into the horses mouth, then fill up with water and squish again. They are rather fiddley and annoying esp as you loose pressure...
Thank you everyone for the very helpful advice, lots to work on!!
I will be spending a lot of time in a point-2 / jumping position whilst walking and trotting up the gallops to actually get a jumping position!
He is such an honest horse, and bless him, he puts up with so much!
I am not very...
Thank you so much for all the CC so far!!
His forwardsness is currently being addressed and he is getting better, I just need to be more disciplined in insisting on it all the time!
1t34 - I was having a lesson, so it wasn't my decision on the height of the fences or the v-pole - I 100%...
Had a SJ lesson with B today and I am posting a video with the hope of having my riding picked to pieces!!
Any CC, hints, tips or suggestions will be gratefully read and taken on board!

Ditto the above advice, but your best bet is to not let it stain in the first place! I keep my coloureds tail permenantly plaited and soaked in cowboy magic de-tangler!
I have heard using persil tablets and holding the tail in it (not the dock) will get it nice a white.
I also swear by...
Second Ellie_e with trying Equifeast - I have heard great things about it! Also, don't feel bad for smacking him - he was being a right git by the sounds of it, and that sort of behaviour is not acceptable. It sounds like he is using his spooking as an evasion, and I would be inclined to tackle...
Poor you OP, I hope your arm is better soon.
I would not recommend carrying a whip and trying to 'discipline' this horse in the field as it will likely antagonise him and make him worse - I found out the hard way and got double barrelled for my efforts.
I hope your friend gets to the...
And breathe!!! When you get there, big smiles and a confident handshake!! Then say, that you are a little bit worried, although really keen to learn etc, and when you get on ask if there is anything you should know about your horse. When you get to the arena maybe ask the lady to give you a few...
Today - finish packing and then trim B within an inch of his life
Saturday - move to Buckinghamshire for new job with B and my Whippet
Sunday - first day of new job!!
I'm soooooo excited :-)
I don't know what a spirofix looks like  so it probably is!! Was just flicking though, and it looks like it was just plopped on the edge of the water!!
Right, I may be being totally blonde/blind, but I was just looking through the photos of the CCI*** at Saumur, and I can not for the life of me figure out how this fence is anchored!! I'm sure it must be though....
