Are we now at the height of foaling season - when are most foals born? I thought with thoroughbreds it was deliberately early, Jan/Feb, bearing in mind that they will race as 2 year olds. Must be a very exciting but busy time for the bigger studs.

Yes, the bone scan is much more specific than an x-ray - I guess your vet will advise you if he/she can't make a diagnosis from the x-ray alone. Hope it all works out for you.

This wasn't part of the commentary. WFP doesn't have an individual medal and this was possibly not going to be the strongest team performance. H&H reported the 'official line'.

WFP swapped to Chilli with the chance of an individual medal in mind; Lionheart would have been the safer team horse, but Chilli more likely to finish in the medals. Really hope he gets one. Looking promising :-)

Give them a call, they sorted mine in just a couple of days. Very efficient. Even if you didn't have your membership cards back in time, they can tell you yours and your horse's numbers so you can still compete.

I didn't see it myself but have heard that horse tried to bank fence two, Harry has broken both elbows and is in Basingstoke hospital for surgery. Wishing him a speedy recovery. But for the grace of god go we.
