Definitely KAN all the way. I wear mine all the time whereas the last one just gathered dust. I'm a bit cynical about the magazine tests - you need to try on a few to decide that the KAN is definitely the most comfy and safest. HAPPY RIDING!
Afternoon all. Scanned through some interesting points of view. Surely it all comes down to choice????

"If someone would invent one which allowed me full range of movement and wasn't too darn hot I'd wear one more often - most, if not all of my falls...
This was great reading on a boring lunchtime!!
Suggest for nerves before a comp - reach for the rescue remedy. Works for me!
As for the ever ridden drunk bit....shared a bottle of pink fizz before a forrest hack yesterday so we were sober enough by the time we got back. Great stuff...

Hi - I have a Kan and wouldn't be withouit it. Seriously comfortable, and when I compare it with my old bp I can't believe I ever wore anything else. Definitely to be tried!! They do 2 different back lengths (one for shorties like me!!) so you should be able to get one that fits.
Never mind etiquette - your safety important! I have A Kan body protector which I wear show jumping over my jacket. You can hardly tell its on when you look at photos. Its shaped to fit, made of high-impact foam from Knox (motorcyle people) and I wouldn't be without it. Definitely worth...
Hi. I have a kan - uses motorcycle technology in its foam and highly shock absorbant. also shaped to fit women. worth every penny. www.kanteq.com. good luck!!!
Is this not a no brainer??? surely schooling xc is as dangersous as competing of not more so, especially if its a go as you please.
Anyway I bought the Kan body protector because Kerry from Middleton Equestrian Centre swears that it saved her from a serious spinal injury...
