I have a short pair to go in leaking Dubarrys. They are not woolly, look like the gloves, smooth. They are surprisingly comfortable and so far waterproof. Allow me to continue wearing Dubarrys. I paid around £15 on eBay.
I had some in 1960. Thought they were the bees knees! Had 'roomy' pikeur ones too, with Lycra too of course upto the mid 2005s. Now I just buy two sizes larger of the straight cuts!!��
There is a great booklet with B&B info etc. I did it in two days but the going is rough and storey and there are around 60 gates. It is extremely scenic but I would have done a shorter daily mileage if I had realised how rough the going was. It is certainly worth riding.

I had an 04 from new, did 100,000 in it and it was fabulous. Towing superb, little bit thirsty on our hills though, it was an auto. Never had any mechanical problems. I would recommend.
