Just wondering if anyone has a good idea of how to slow the eating of a Hay replacer, the horse in question can only have soaked grass nuts & Ready mash fibre, no hay or haylage at all for the time being.
This is fine but the horse is a 7yo PRE & is a greedy swine at the best of times, he is...
Sounds very positive, i really do like the look of them. I also dont really do BP's but as im not getting any younger & have a yard of horses that cant do without me i think i need to take things more seriously.
If it is hormonal then you could try No Moody No from Pegusus Health it's a strong tincture of Chasteberry but not that expensive. The trouble with testing is if he did have PPID then it would be awful as the only drug able to help is Prascend & that it illegal for competition rediculously.
But...
Does anyone have one of these?
Any opinions on them?
Im after a new BP & this appeals to me because of A, it's make Dainese (having been around motorbike's) & B, because it seems to have the movement i need. I back a fair few horses & really need something that wont get in the way but...
So he went wrong when he returned to your yard from his Initial backing?
Where are you based? It would be a real shame to PTS a young horse who has just been messed up, the trouble is there wont be a quick fix to your problem & only the right work & consistency in that work will get him...
Dont know where abouts you are NW, but im Staffs & have a PRE i train & compete. Unfortunately i cannot take in for training atm as ive just filled my last stable with a new horse. But if your close i could certainly help you.

I think you do have to be careful with where you buy supplements from. I personally buy Boswellia from Pegasus Health mainly because i know it is a high quality product which is subjected to GMP Processes ensuring it is all ways high quality.
You can save the postage & more buying the Pegasus...
My WB was written off in 2010 with Impar damage & Adhesions to the DDFT, this was a foreleg. His chances of being field sound where slim.
He was initially shod with bar shoes, but after 4 weeks he was going from very bad to much worse. I decided at this point to go Barefoot nothing much to...
Some of it is natural of course some horses are naturally very active with the hindleg, but ime with my WB im just starting to get the lift & engagement through training.
Basically it comes from a very active hind, what i thought was active was no where near enough, now ive pushed for more &...
Oh N, I'm so sorry your having problems :(
Have you had a good look at diets including grass, hay/haylage? Just wondering if it could be some sort of severe Vit or min balance / in-balance problem?
Clutching at straws I no wish I could help more.
M61 is the easiest for rider & horse. It's a nice gentle Medium test with nothing to hard. No Travers, No walk Piri's, but there is ext Canter & Ext Trot. This is all from memory so i could be wrong. :)
I not done any reports for a while so i thought some of you might like to see our JLC report with vids.
Yesterday we had another lesson with Jennie Loriston-Clarke, last time i saw her i took my big WB & had an amazing time. The time it was the Spanish One's turn.
Jennie hasnt seen my...
