I could try something like this but from what I've heard, stitching into a turnout rug often creates leaks through the rug when it rains, due to the stitiching through the material.

The Wugs don't work for horses with large shoulders and chest. :(

Highlands, the Turtlenecks are great but on my horse they're tight around his chest/shoulders. *sigh*

Thanks ashlingm... I actually ordered an Optimo Stall Blanket to try, also from overseas! Why don't they sell everything in the US? *cries* I haven't tried the HW Rambo Optimo Turnout but just may do so. Still interested in the design of the Trust rugs though!

They're not sold in America and, no one here has even heard of them. I discovered them by relentlessly searching for innovative rugs for horses who get sore withers in winter.

I'm willing to buy the real thing. Hoping to get some tried and true experiences with them.

I'm in the USA and I'm interested in two of their blankets because they seem to have a unique design that might work for my horse with impossible to fit physique! He's a stallion with a very large neck, and high AND wide withers (long too), AND a big chest. *sigh* Every winter he gets...
