    Conniemara height ?

Connemaras usually can only grow to 15hh (15.2hh at a push) but the average is 14.2hh. I'd check him to see if he is full Connie, especially as he still has some way to grow! Nevertheless enjoy him! I hated but also loved bringing on my pony of 5 years. She's 9 now and I'd do anything to do it...

£300 per month 1 horse but would depend. For example i would pay less if i had to order a certain no. of shavings/hay etc. a week and pay for those seperately.

I feed oats - helped me no-end and got her a salt lick too. Salt lick made her less sleepy and down but oats helped the laziness :)

    Shoeing

Oh, I never even thought about laminitis! She is a little over the weight I'd like but not by much, and they currently are in their stables 24/7. I've had her for 6 years however it's only this year that we've started to hack almost every single day, whereas we did basically none beforehand...

    Shoeing

Hahaha yes I didn't really think that through! She loves them - she was very footsore which is why she had them on so she's adapted really well as they stop her pain. We think we're going to ask about back shoes also because she's still trying to get onto grass verges out hacking in more than a...

Moving horse home - any tips?

We put them out in a small fenced off area (at home). We made that bigger and gradually separated the two until they were on opposite sides. Then I started going for hacks alone instead of riding in the field and leaving in the stable for an hour after a hose. Keep increasing the time until it's...
