    Removal of ovaries

Has anyone had this operation done to their mare, if so how long does it take for the hormones to settle down and how long before you brought your horse back into work and were you able to lunge them first or ride them in walk etc.

    Regumate

She has been thoroughly checked out blood tests etc and all was fine, the vet felt that if the Regumate works for her then don't worry about it, which is fine until someone forgets to put it in her feed or she may not get the correct dosage.
