    The things non-horsey people say......

OH: Shall we go away for the BH weekend? Me: Yes, as long as I can get someone to look after the horse OH: What, you have to do her on bank holidays too, can't you just leave her for 2 days with a load of hay in the stable? Me: "sighs"

    Random lumps and bumps!

Hello, A month ago my girl randomly over night came out in loads of little lumps all over her body, especially around her belly. Waited a week to see if they'd go down which they did a little, but then came back up again, vet called, agreed it could be some allergic reaction, steroid injection...

    Mudfever...arghhh..what do you use?

Hello, My girl is suffering with mudfever worse then ever this Winter, so am curious as to what other people use to help prevent it? I keep the kegs clean and scab free and keep them as dry as I can, but this Winter its just not clearing up with the fields being so wet and muddy, stupid...

Horse clippers- will these do the job?

I havent tried those particular ones, but I got some similar from Amazon for around £100 - they were totally rubbish, tried to do a full clip and had to end up using a friends pair to finish. I splashed out on the Heiniger Progress clippers in the end - These are amazing!

Help needed! which clippers do you recommend...

I just bought some Heiniger Handy clippers - They are amazing!! They were a £245 and came next day direct from Heiniger, but they really are the best I have ever used. Gave my hairy cob a full clip last night and they did the job perfectly, body, legs the lot!
