What a load of rubbish. Sometimes, people on here need to take a step back and stop thinking they're God. If you don't have anything constructive/helpful/unpatronising to say then perhaps best not to say it. Although it wouldn't leave you with much left to talk about...

I stopped using Fellowes Farm owing to their increasingly obnoxious attitude. Nothing wrong with the vets, but trying to get through via the receptionist was a battle I really couldn't be arsed with every time I rang up.
I now use Oakham Vets who have been exemplary and are never concerned...
Matt Lanni's very good. They used to do a training day once a week - turn up, pay for a couple of rounds with instruction - not sure if they do anymore. Would recommend for private lessons though - although he's quite expensive.
Does anyone in the northants area want shiatsu for their horse? I'm in my second year of studying and am looking for a variety of cases to go towards my final assessment.
While I have loads of friends who volunteer their horses, it'd be nice to get my hands on some 'unknown' horses - not least...
I've had my equimats for five years - they still look like new. Probably more expensive than other types but I can't fault them. Easy to shift and clean too. Would defo have again.
My yearling is looking a bit scrawny but it's largely because he's shot up again at the back. He seems to have massive spurts of growth - the farrier was surprised how much he's grown since before Crimbo. He comes in at night with ad lib hay and is fed level scoop of just grass and about a third...
God she is a vacuous cow. Funny how she says it's a straw bed in another of the stables... I'm not a violent person, but if there's someone whom I wouldn't get tired of punching in the head.
If he goes for you (as mine is currently doing) then get ready for him with an elbow. If he goes to bite me, I have my elbow ready for a quick jab in the mouth. He doesn't see it coming and thinks it's actually his doing, not mine. That way, you're not tapping him on the nose or whatever, with...
'while the movement of imports into Britain might be a bad idea in terms of it being horses moving in a time of disease outbreak the chances of the imported horses actually bringing EIA in with them is very small...'
That seems like a strange assumption to make, considering that's how it got here!
I think we need photos for this thread. I take quite a long time, but then I'm very anal about my stables. My house is a pit but my stables are immaculate.
I moved my mare when I bought a foal last November (2008). I'd been paying £50 a week DIY which included bringing in and feeding (yikes, I know). Moved to a private yard in village, £40 per week for two. So it's £40 a month cheaper and saves me about £100 in fuel - which I can spend on help if...
