I was at Woodstock Lane South for a bit, £350 for 5 days full 2 days DIY, but you bought your own bedding/hay/feed (they'll organise it for you if you like though) Not the smartest yard, but had turnout, a school and did the job.

i can't quite remember how the costs broke down, but when my dog was in with a broken leg which required a hugely complicated nail and plating operation on a joint, he was in for 3 nights and the bill was 2k. Obviously most of that was the operation

you've got south view farm, Lodge farm, park hill/villa farm/top lodge in grendon, glebe in Bozeat, Manor farm is meant to be nice, i think theres one on stannic rd in higham, theres one in woodford.

There is a yard on the left as you drive in to woodford from the addingtons, where the farm shop etc is. Might be worth just sticking a head round the door and asking?

I've 'made do' on yards before. I don't mind facilities so much as long as I'm getting a fair price, and i moved recently from a yard where i did just think i was getting ripped off, it sounded cheap until all the little extras were added on!

I think it depends on the horse. I have two, one who is a bit of a fair weather lad! Wants to come in at the first sight of a cloud, other who is out 24:7 until the yard asks for them to come in at night to help the grazing. Until we moved we were out 24/7 and she was fine
