    Help me saddle pad shop

Have a look at pioneer numnahs. They are made by Nuumed but to a slightly different design, available in different colours and wool weights.

    Lemieux turnout rugs

I just got a 100g in the Hope Valley sale. Quality looks good for the £100 I paid but unfortunate that they put the liner loops in a different position on the neck line to all other makes. I suspect intentional to have those that are not good with a needle and thread buying their own to fit...

Vet recommendation for a 5 stage vetting in Cheshire

Another vote for Ashbrook, not sure if she leaves the surgery much but I'd have Kerry given the choice. A few more posts and I think that'll be a vote for each and every vet there!!

    Cats and Saddles!

My saddles are on racks in the tack room but the yard cats like to use them to sit on so I now pop a small mat of plastic cat spikes on top of the cover. It's enough to put them off bedding down!

I just bought my first cob! Introduction + feed advice + photos!

Oh Red... I've not previously commented on this thread but have often enjoyed dipping in for a read and it has always been apparent what a great team yourself and Mr Red have been. What a total shock this must be for you. I am in awe of how composed and functional you now appear but please do...

    Rugs...in July?!

I am at the yard circa 7am and 7pm with the horses being in during the day and out at night. As such I have the benefit of having dry horses to put rugs on in the evening and it is generally cool enough for a lightweight by that time. I have had to leave in rugs during the day a few times in the...

Chepstow Jump Season Opener - which day?

Good to know, thank you! Our other likely day out will be Cheddar, including rock climbing and caving, on whichever day we don't go to the races so looks like we are safely away on the Saturday whatever way round we go.

Chepstow Jump Season Opener - which day?

A friend and I are having a trip to Bath for a few days in October and have spotted that it coincides with the Jump Season Opener at Chepstow so we are thinking of heading there for a day. The question is which is the better day to visit - Friday or Saturday? Is there a significant difference...
