    Advice wanted!!

I am looking to go BE this year but need a horse to compete as mine is out of action. Have competed unaffiliated up to 100 and dressaged novice. Have schooled horses up to psg and advanced eventing level. Any ideas on how to go about this?

How to slow my horse down before a jump?!

Do you ever antisicpate that your horse is going to do this? If so that can make it worse. Try cantering and singing a slow song or counting in a slow rythm into the fence as sometimes it takes YOUR mind off of it and it can help. Not saying it will but it might. I use it sometimes when im...

KS Surgery-Coming Back Into Work, How Can I Get My Name Out There On The BE Circuit!

This is my problem, all my clients are into different disiciplines so producing young horses for this is going to be difficult as I cant afford to buy any and the clients I ride for arent into eventing. As for volunteering thatrs difficult as I am working a lot so its a case of finding time...

KS Surgery-Coming Back Into Work, How Can I Get My Name Out There On The BE Circuit!

Thanks for the reply as you are the only one. They say that the surgery is 90% likely to have worked, but who knows until I can ride. Yes time will tell, my horse was well behaved to ride but not performing and to mount unless someone had hold of him and walked him around he would go up...

PLEASE READ! Kissing Spine Surgery... Is it sucessful?

Yea the vet did say that if the cortazone injections work and we go through with the op then he will be on a very strict rehab programme. He said the process wasnt too long and he could be gently ridden again in about 3 months. I just hope it will all go to plan.

PLEASE READ! Kissing Spine Surgery... Is it sucessful?

He is very difficult to mount which is why when we went to the vets anyway we go the xrays just incase. Although there was a time where he then would let me get on without problems so i am hoping the op will help as he has fabulous breeding to event. I just want him to be able to forfill his...

Hi, I have a 5y/o irish sport horse who has just been diagnosed with kissing spines. The vet has said that surgery is the only chance of him having a successful ridden career. I was intending to event him before this diagnosis. I was wondering if anyone has a horse that has had this surgery and...
