I'd suggest horse boots, although my TB is semi-retired but gets sore if he loses a shoe so will have to be shod all the time, but it might be worth it for you. Speaking to a therapeutic farrier/barefoot farrier may help, as they will be able to suggest things even down to feed that will help...

Thank you, I have looked into grants/loans and will be sorting that all out with student finance England if I get any offers (fingers crossed). I'm moving away from home (my 3 main choices being 2+hrs away) so I'm also looking into possible other alternatives :)
