Hi guys wondering if any of you could give me a rough idea of what you'd expect to pay a month renting a yard. I've been at my current yard for 20 years, unfortunately they're selling up so having to look at others but feeling I'm extremely out the loop regarding the current monthly rates...

Depends what part of Kent your in, I'm down Canterbury way. Can't recommend Victoria Henderson (physio) and Julia Ledger-munich (chiro/acupuncture) enough. They've both worked wonders on my horses.
Highly recommend reading the book perfect mind: perfect ride by inga wolframm. It's based on sport psychology, starting off with the theory then moving onto methods you can utilise. I couldn't put it down!
I would certainly get X-Ray's done and go from there. My youngster exhibited very similar behaviour that was so out of character. X-Ray's showed slight arthritic changes in the last 3 facet joints of the thoracic region of the spine(mouthful I know!) ulcers also go hand in hand with these sorts...
Thanks for the advice guys! My local tack shop only had Naffs no bite but it certainly seems to be doing the trick! Rugs in once piece now! I also sprayed some on the straw beds as mine like to have a chomp on that too! They haven't touched it since.
Thanks again :)
Thanks for the replies guys!
I'll give the anti-bite spray a go and hope he dislikes the taste, although knowing him he'll love it!

So my youngsters being a real pain in the bum!
My 3 horses are turned out together and recently my youngster (5yrs) thinks its rather amusing to hang on to the tail flap of the pony, who also thinks its hilarious! I on the other hand don't fancy buying new rugs every other week! So does...

Oh this is fantastic, thankyou so much. Messaged you too but thought i'd also post here :)
I've actually decided to turn my boy away for 6 months, although i was against this to begin with, the pros outweighed the cons. We haven't got a school on site but in hacking distance so a rehab program...
I've posted on here recently regarding my 5yr old eventer being diagnosed with arthritic changes in the facet joints of the thoracic region of the spine. So my vets recommended osphos medication followed by an appropriate rehab program (6weeks non-ridden work to build up and strengthen the...
Thanks for replying guys :) definitely thinking of using it as an under rug and see how we get on. Luckily my two horses are the same rug size so they can play swapsies and see how we get on!
So my eventers just been diagnosed with arthritic changes in the facet joints of the thoracic region of his spine (mouthful i know!) my current thought is to go down the medication route (osphos) then with the correct rehab program build him back up etc (just a rough idea as i can waffle on!)...
