Born at 11pm last night. My first foal ... mare maiden and it went very quick! From water break to out was 11mins.... All seems fine with mum and bubba vet out this afternoon for check over. So here she is .... she's by Grafenstolz out of my Acclamation (TB) mare...

Always differing opinions, I mainly insure any of my horses for vets fees not for matter of ££ if sadly lost. (but then nothing is worth mega ££ lol!) I was told by pet plan foal would be insured for 3x the stud fee, which for me covers the cost of breeding.

Don't my friend was in TB breeding for some years and said once one of their mares went 12months 9 days :eek:!!! I wouldn't cope if my mare cooked that long!
