I had a tiny papillion bitch, less then 6lbs. She was very lazy and not fussed about walking any where. Found basic obedience and house training a bit tricky but a cat flap solved the problem.
If i could id love another whippet or a lurcher. Best dog I've ever owned was an ancient lurcher i got from the pound. If i could have another one like what id be there like a shot.
Blue my 12 week old whippet puppy. I love seeing all these pictures, especially the rotties. I was bit by one as a kid and have always been quite scared of them but since getting Blue and meeting a few they've all been really nice.
Mines a hyper whippet on speed and we do a half hour walk once a day for my sanity! He's 12 weeks old and if he doesn't get out and have regular brain training he's a non stop whirlwind. I only have a tiny yard though so it makes up for tgeres fact he can't run round there.
Just a quick update, started following caylas crate guide and already an improvement. Settles much faster and takes himself off to bed :) . He's a lovely dog, full of beans. Had his last injection yesterday so very excited about taking him out next week. Thanks for all the advice and help.
As much as id love to take him every where with me its not possible. Dogs are not allowed in school yards and leaving him in my car results in the alarm going off every 2 minutes.
Ill start following the crate advice straight away and hopefully hell feel more secure.
