RAF low flying helicopters - experiences

Please educate me as to why this cannot be done on MOD land? I've had helicopters practise landings ie not quite touching the ground so not technically landing. Can this not be done elsewhere? Genuine question.

RAF low flying helicopters - experiences

In what way? I am saying what happened to me and my experience. I don't understand why they need to do this over private land when they have their own land.

RAF low flying helicopters - experiences

I have had to contact them on many occasions. They don't care. Their arrogance is unbelievable. On the first occasion (about 15 yeas ago), they actually turned around and flew back over me. Initially, they denied this but I had an independent witness. They then changed their story to the...

    What would you do? (Rehab)

A horse walker (a well built one with a proper floor) is often a safer option than walking in hand. The yard I'm at mainly does rehab and they don't walk in hand. Hope your boy gets better soon.

    Potential WWYD ? Yard...

I'd always pick the one without the children. Generally, they don't help to create a peaceful atmosphere.

    Gassy colicky pony

Make sure he is drinking enough. In cold weather, warm his water.

Thoughts on riding being allowed with November lockdown

If the government believes it is safe for me to spend all day crammed into a classroom with up to 30 different households, with no social distancing, then I'm sure I'm fine to ride.

Cancel my insurance. But who else can you recommend?

That price sounds standard. You could lower the valuation of your horse, that often lowers the premium.

What's your out of hours call out charge?

Call out 35, OOH surcharge 64.68 examine 44.95, drugs on top of that. So about 145 for OOH call out. I totally understand the need for a OOH surcharge but 200 seems steep. It's 120 for the cat OOH which is always a bit of a shock. All animals seem to have a built in 'out of hours' timer!

    VERY VERY VERY wet gelding

Both of mine are wet. They have Nedz Bed Pro under their straw. It's very absorbent and has also cut down on the wee smell. (They have rubber mats too. )
