Thank you for your reply, it's a gamble I know but we need a companion anyway and if no good for riding this horse would be a very pretty field ornament!
Please can I ask opinions on this set of feet? Near fore is quite upright and boxy. The horse has apparently never been lame and was born like it, been out of work but had a ridden career in the past. My farrier didn't seem overly concerned and the horse was lovely otherwise!
Thank you, this is my opinion also, horse has been seen by vet recently for lameness on other leg but this has developed over the last few days. I'm really concerned.
Friend's horse is lame. This is her foot (front) - the crack is deep, I'd say almost an inch at its deepest. It has come from the coronet band downwards, and has been getting worse for a while. I'm worried about the prognosis for this horse, who is lovely - she hasn't seen the vet yet, the...
I think that's what I want - not a pure jumping saddle as I won't need it/am unlikely to be jumping huge jumps - but my current gp isn't really forward cut enough to have shorter stirrups for jumping. I like the look of it and will probably go ahead and try it!
Ok that's super, so one would suit what I'm after it for? It's just it's a bit misleading as some adverts say "Ideal Event GP saddle", which I find confusing!!!
Can anyone tell me what these are geared towards? Are they suitable for low level jumping and xc? My horse is doing a bit more now and I'm thinking of upgrading from her gp saddle to something a bit more jump orientated, although would still like to be able to use it day to day along with her...
Ok, it hadn't occurred to me to pay the next month's livery to cover the time stable is empty but leave regardless, I think I'm so stressed I'm not thinking straight, but that is what I will do!
If your YO was abusive and manipulating towards you, including in front of other liveries and definitely through no fault of your own (I do know he struggles with MH issues), would you leave without giving notice? There is no contract in place, I have been there for over 4 years and the...
Is anybody able to say how much the omeprazole injection cost them, per week? I know my friend has asked the vet but the cost was something like £180 per jab!
Thanks for the replies, friend whose horse it is is a nurse so very used to giving jabs! Just wanted to be up to date with all the relevant information as vets haven't mentioned that it is an option
As title, has anybody used this rather than traditional omeprazole and how easy is it for vets to get hold of? Is it able to be bought from one of the online pharmacy type companies with a vet prescription to administer yourself? Any experiences welcome!
