Ok so I have £1000 to spend on a new saddle for Lily. Which one should I go for?
I want a dressage saddle in leather for a short coupled slightly flat backed cob with shorter flaps for my short legs!
Would you look to buy a new one 'off the peg' have one made to measure or use the money...
This is Lily. She has an ISH passport, but is only about 14.2ish. She rides like a pony and can spin on a sixpence just like a pony!! :). Luckily I'm vertically challenged so make her look bigger than what she is :)
Thank you all for your replies. Very useful. The focus of the elbows makes a lot of sense as I tend to hunch my shoulders and am often reminded by friends/instructor to relax and lift my breast bone, and I'm guessing this stiffness also has an affect on my elbows. Will definately be putting...

Has anyone had to deal with their horse having a thyroid problem? A horse on our yard has had some cells drawn off a lump in her neck (which she has had for a few years) to check for lymph node issues. However the vet has found no evidence of problems in this area but thinks it may be thyroid...
