The Gatehouse RXC1 and HS1, Charles Owen 4* and PROtector hats are all tested to SNELL standard I believe, which is one of the highest standards.
I have an oval head and have a RXC1, although it's not quite as comfy as my Champion Ventair.
I think the HS1 is a different shape to the RXC1...
Hi,
Thanks for the reply!
I'm not 100% sure where I will be living yet as I'm looking to buy so availability and affordability of yards will probably be the deciding factor!
I grew up not too far from these areas and lived in Cirencester for a short while years ago so I know the area a bit...
Hi,
I appreciate this isn't directly related to hunting but ideally I'd like to be based at more of a hunting/eventing type yard.
So just wondered if people could give me any info on yards in the area and rough cost of DIY with some services?

Hi,
As title really! Looking to relocate to Gloucestershire, possibly around those areas and just wondered if people could give me any info on yards in the area and rough cost of DIY with some services?
Also what's the hacking etc like?
Many thanks!
:-)
Have a look on the Celeris website as all the styles are on there and are customisable. Depends whether you want the stiffer dressage boots or the softer more fitted boots.
A friend of mine has brown polo boots and the stiffer dressage boots in polished back and they are both lovely.
I've just...
I've ordered some but they aren't due to arrive for another 4 weeks.
I was going to just get plain boots but with all the choice I've ended up going for black boots with patent tops and toes.
I can't wait till they arrive!
:-)
The descriptions seem to stay in Dutch for some reason, but the rest of the site should change.
I've not bought from them personally but I know a couple of people who have bought bridles from there and found ordering and delivery quick and easy.
A friend of mine has a lovely bridle from Hypostore that wasn't too expensive either.
They do several drop noseband bridles.

Hi, just tried to PM you but I got a message saying I cant!
Have you tried Mark Bosanko in Devon?
He imports from Holland and has some lovely horses.
:-)
I don't think you can carry over any no claims that you have on your car, so don't think that will make a difference.
I pay:
£350 fully comp insurance and breakdown with ERS. Milage restricted to 5000 per year.
About £165 tax per year.
Plating is about £150
Servicing has cost about £500...
Yes, its not that obvious where the rule book is on the website, which is probably why there's often posts about what clothing and tack is allowed.
Have fun this season!
:-)
The rule book is on the BE website under Quick Links at the top right of the page, then Rule Book is in the drop down menu, then I think its chapter 7 competitors dress and saddlery.

Here's the link to Mark Bosankos website, as I said on my other post he does have some nice horses in.
