Thanks everyone for great advice and replies , and for the hope that things will improve ! but with correct handling , I googled a bit about this problem before posting for advice and a lot said to really go for the horse physically but most of the sites were american and I think it will be...
New cob seems friendly and is the first one to come over and say hello , but then puts ears flat looks mean and will sometimes try and bite , it seems like he wants to be friendly then cant handle it . I have had vet out she thinks just be firm and confident as hes ok health wise . I am not sure...

I bought a 25kg bag of mag chloride from Countrywide farmers its called NedMag and cost about £8.00 and they delivered as well. My IR mare has done well on it next to no pulses at all and had some grass every day all through summer and her crest came down and felt really soft and spongey . Shes...
I would add magnesium chloride to the diet it helps a lot . I would not feed bute or danilon or metformin as I feel sure they upset the hind gut and may cause ulcers. Also add salt as well. Turmeric is a good anti inflammitory .
Liver biopsy was booked but she just would not load into the lorry and it all had to be called off. Asked if she could have anti biotics but vet said no. I am now feeding turmeric and starting the sea buckthorn again to help her, turmeric has been proven to reduce liver enzymes. Meanwhile have...

Me too HGA 12, results in next couple of days, feeling anxious. I am thinking maybe leaky gut ? have read with this condition food leaks out and causes toxins that go into the liver and muscles hence raised liver enzymes and raised muscle enzymes AST and CK, am currently giving increased vit...
