Have you had any bodywork done? As others have said the SI joint could be playing up so getting that checked over with a professional would definitely be something I would look into. A very slow rehab starting from the ground to focus on stifle and abdominal strength will also only help you in...
The performance ones tend to have less bone, are leggier and naturally leaner with a bigger stride, think small horse, and the traditional ones will generally have a smaller stride with a short cannon, feather, more bone and ride like a pony. That’s not to say a traditional will not be able to...
I have the saddle company cc jumps for all of mine and absolutely adore them and so do my horses however have the privilege of having a genuinely fantastic fitter on site - in 10 years I have never known a horse become cold backed/sore/saddle shy in one she has fitted. Like most companies you...
@DabDab yes, as far as i know that’s pretty much what’s happened in this situation which is a huge shame! made sure my own was registered within about a week of her being born as both parents have great lines so obviously would be crazy not too.

I'm not a massive fan of heavy/maxi...
That's awful! Horror stories like that really put me off ever wanting to loan my pony, or anything else I'd ever have out, some people are really unbelievable...
Ah ok, her sire has quite a good reputation, so if anything I think it would be on her dam's side. Once I have recovered from the cost of a full new set of tack I will look into it! :)
I have a 14hh/14.1hh Connemara, she has a fair bit of bone but is definitely not cobby and I'm 5'4 1/2, I fit her fine and feel the right size, whereas my friend who is at least 5'7 is more than happy on her 13.2 cob. It's mostly down to weight more than anything, and imo as long as you're happy...
