I was also at Keysoe on Saturday and had a completely different experience!
I had a absoloute breakdown after walking the Novice and asked to be moved down a class - the secretaries/ladies in the office were lovely and said 'we don't have any withdrawals at the mo, but we are sure we will but...
That type of horse is hard to find - I have two and I get a lot of offers for the eventer!
prehaps consider someting outside the box - ie older or something that has had a injury in the past and is now back up and running....
Be fair guys, their "lorry parking" is their show ground, and they will lose huge amounts of revenue if they can't rent it for shows for the season. They do have hard standing for the livery yard and other facilities, but nowhere near enough to park a BE event and it would cause chaos in the...
Im 6"1 and have a 34" to 36" inside leg. I love the K2 so much that I have the Jump, the GP and the VSD and am currently looking at the dressage (i do have 2 horses by the way and a saddle fetish!).
I did have the 17.5 but having ridden in the 18" jump it is much much better - however, they...
I did lark hill as my first novice at the end of last season - I though the SJ was actually on the small side. Ring was on a bit of a slope and clears few and far between at SJ due to double followed by tough upright down a hill but in fairness, it jumped well as a whole course.
XC was v nice...

I sold a horse that I would have said was safe but fit warm blood, etc to a lady who appeared competent and tried it 3 times including with her instructor, who rode it. She then...
I am very surprised at that X put the horse through the sales - if you sell on project horses with full history disclosed, its one thing but in terms of a sale through the ring, any one could buy it from total novice to dodgy dealer. Personally, I am someone who bought a horse from a dealer...
I have to do some country roads before getting on to the open new forest and my dog is not clever or traffic savvy.
I tie two pieces of bayler twine together and slip through dogs collar and I hold the other two ends - once i get to the forest I simply drop one end and pull - twine comes...
I agree - much thicker nose band
and....even though you may think the plaits think better colour wise that side (and I can see why) i think she would look better the 'right' side - simply because most people will stop and stare at the 'wrong' side, inc the judge!
Please don't think that I have a chip although I do accept that I find it frustrating that the rules are so blurred. I just don't understand how they can vary so much from society to society.
Jenna (who I have never met) did a amazing job this year and her horse is lovely but it is weird to...
This one of the reasons I no longer aspire to do very well at showing - it is so very heavily skewed...
1. Pro; Produces and rides other peoples horses as part of their living;
2. Amateur; Can run a huge livery yard, teach and earn all their living from horses(inc correct me if I'm wrong...
