Hi All thanks for the replies! In all fairness this probably just me worrying as myself and the dog are in our little routine of me coming home from work, getting changed and grabbing the dog as he is left alone for a couple hours in the day some days but not for hours on end as my husband...

He isn't crate trained and he is 3 years old. Just worried about him being with us all the time after work to bring in his own again when we are at the yard - he is very much a people's dog. I'll look into crate training. Thank you :)
