He's 12...we've got him on metformin (sp?)which I'm guessing has helped over the summer...& yes gingerwitch I'm hoping to get this sorted over the winter.....I think we'll need to to get him tested ....which will be my next plan...! Literally his feed is next to nothing bored...just to get vits...

I've battled over the last summer with my mums ponies weight gain....the grass hasn't stopped growing n still looks good now!! He's turned out for 6 hours a day, fed a balance & a few pony nuts ...couple of carrots ...4lbs of hay over night....he's only ridden on weekend. I tried a muzzle...but...

Right finally got some money together....I've saved hard..:-) and would like a pair of full seat breeches for competing & buy his highness a new bridle..! We've not got a decent tack shop round here so before I spend a small fortune on P&P Has any one got any suggestions on what to buy!? thanks

Just wondered which bit you use on your fell ponies!? I currently use a myler but he's not happy in it!! Any suggestions would be great!!

God you've just described my horse!! I've had him 12months now & he's better then he was but he looks at me like Im the grim reaper!! Ears flat back.. trying to nip me when Im on my way out of the stable...but 5 minutes later he wants a hug!! Im getting the feeling this is just him...he doesn't...
