Definitely the EquiAmi! I could go on for days about its benefits. I had a horse who wouldn't lunge on a long line and with it's help, not only can I now not use the EquiAmi when I lunge her in her saddle before a ride but she has started going in a natural outline without it and her topline is...
Thanks so much, there are times I felt like throwing the towel in but I thought she would face the same problems on future homes and how could I sell her in such a state? With the constant support of my Mum, the benefits of hard work are paying off in love and happiness from Guin and hopefully...
Thank you so much, I had been told by so many people to sell her but I just couldn't, I couldn't let her down as she'd been let down in the past. It has taken a good 4 months to get her to where she is now and she still has a long way to go (next week we introduce the whip to speed her up a...
Thank you! I find it so hard to smile when riding because I'm trying not to squeal with joy and upset her but my heart is absolutely beaming and I do a little dance when I get off hehe xxx
Hey guys! Well I thought I'd update you again and let you know how we're getting on. I'm now riding Guin!!!!! She is worked 6 days a week by our yard owner who has brought her on leaps and bounds and she doesn't buck anymore, rarely head shakes, and is much more manageable. Change of diet...
Ah one picture is making it stretch, sorry guys! Thanks all, just had a lovely chat with my vet who is going to scope her in a few weeks to check there and have dentist coming out soon so we will know if there is anything wrong hopefully but as many have told me, head shaking is not the easiest...
We were told about regumate and the surgery options but they thought it best to try one of the supplements first, have read about Oestress which sounds quite good from reviews, need to do a bit of research into the difference of feeding as a powder or a liquid though. Thanks for your suggestion...
Can anyone recommend a supplement for mares in season? It has been suggested I try one for Guin to help her mareishness as she can be a bit bolshy and wondered what was available and considered to work? Obviously different for every horse but would be nice to have some idea, thanks in advance!
Thanks Clippi! She is much more relaxed and working well at Chorley and with the help of her new friends Hailey, Leonie and Sue, and so am I, hehe! I look forward to seeing her progress even more in the next few months xxx
Hey all!
Thought I would update you all on Guin who some of you may remember me writing about in a previous post who I was having difficulty working with. She is my first horse and upon buying her found out she had vertical head shaking problems and back problems from being ridden in a saddle...
Will take more pics and a vid this weekend but look at her already, I was sent this pic of her today of her lungeing! She had been lunged without the EquiAmi by my yard owner and then progressed onto it. She's been using the EquiAmi for 3 days now and no problems still, she already looks more...
Hello! Can anyone recommend any good clippers? Looking for my first pair purely at this time of year for feather trimming but obviously something that would be suitable for a fuller clip depending on her work as she develops, I don't know where to start! Thanks very much xxx
P.S. I will not...
Well guess what! New yard and new routine = new horse!
Just heard from instructor and despite being very unfit she was no problem to lunge at all! Despite being really bad at previous yard. So happy! Going to watch on Sunday, tomorrow they're going to add a roller and work up to the equiami...
