The installments were their idea! We could have bought him outright at the time. We had a month loan trial beforehand and everyone was happy to proceed with the sale

They are paying back what we have paid towards his asking price, but not any of the upkeep we have spent over the last few months, our half of the unopened haylage bale, or the £50 quids worth of bedding we put down this morning :( Don't have the energy to fight it though
