Interested in what people are saying about ovary removal- I've had a couple of people mention it to me, it seems to be becoming a more common treatment now - I guess because it can be done as standing surgery? Does it give good results?-it's a drastic option, but is it worse than pumping her...
I have a similar problem with my mare, regumate helps but she still comes into season so would be interested if anyone had any opinions on this one. OP did you speak to your vet and what did they say? I am going to talk to my vet this week too. Can't you just tell spring has finally arrived!!!
Could the regumate be combined with a marble, never thought of that one? Also has anyone tried Intrauterine Plant Oils, that seems to have a good success rate, but I haven't come across anyone with real life experience yet.

Has anyone had any experience of this (making a DMMO application)? I have talked to my local council but they are not exactly been helpful (in fact I got the distinct impression that any application we made would be turned down)so I want to make the application as thorough as possible.
If...

Never thought of giving it to my horse too tho'.....
Also find a supprotive hacking partner if you can, if your horse has a friend they can ride out...
I've decided to take my girl to her first show in the next few weeks. We're just doing an in-hand class first time out just for the experience, we'll have lots of support on the day from friends, but I really don't know what to expect as I've never done anything like this before, so any tips...
