    Barefoot Friendly Fibre/Condition Cube

Thank you, might try the ERS pellets and copra in the winter, depending on how fat they are! Old boy needs energy so would definitely suit him, silly younger one might have to stick with the high fibre cubes.

    Barefoot Friendly Fibre/Condition Cube

Thanks, will go for the high fibre cubes for now, and maybe get some of the pure feeds condition cubes once winter sets in. Might see if I can get a small bag of the copra and see if he likes it!

    Barefoot Friendly Fibre/Condition Cube

Does anyone have any suggestions for a barefoot friendly condition/fibre cube that I can add to their speedibeet, linseed, and prohoof supplement. Fussy pony gets bored and ends up leaving the last bit of his feed, he needs a cube of some sort to make it a bit more interesting. I've used Pure...

    Barefoot feeding advice please!

Any tips on where to get this? Will my usual feed shop have them, or is online better? Is it brewers yeast you recommend? Many thanks for the replies!

    Barefoot feeding advice please!

Hello, after reading lots of these so called "barefoot taliban" posts about a barefoot diet, I thought I would ask for some advice what to feed my TB gelding. Currently gets one scoop of Alfa-a molasses free, and 2 cups of topspec balancer, once a day. In the winter I usually swop to the...

    Carsington Water

Anybody been to Carsington Water? Tempted to do the endurance ride there at the end of the month, what are the tracks like? Horse is barefoot, wondered how much sharp flinty ground there was. Thanks!

    Renault Master Van conversion help!

My dad is a mechanic so can check the engine and body work etc, he seems to think that the conversion is a good professional one. How do I check that the...

    Saddlers Nottingham

Thats positive, BP seemed to think I would be looking at a new saddle after the last reflocking though. I checked the Barnsby website and it does say all saddles can be adjusted by 1 width fitting, which could take mine to a narrow/medium from a narrow? Does anyone know how much it costs to do...

    Saddlers Nottingham

I bought my current saddle from bridlepath, it was the cheapest one that fitted (£800 barnsby) which is now too narrow as he was a thin and very weedy 3 year old when I got it. Last time they came out and reflocked it cost me £70, hence trying to find someone more local. I will give Debbie a...

    Saddlers Nottingham

Can anyone recommend a saddle fitter in Nottingham? I was going to give Debbie Richardson a call as she was recommended to me, but I have heard she only does new saddles/doesn't part exchange? Anyone know? Anyone else decent in Nottingham?

    Putting Lime on fields

Apparently it is to balance the ph levels in the soil. He has been turned out since yesterday and is fine, I have offered hay but prefers the long grass!

    Putting Lime on fields

He hates being in so will probably eat the grass anyway, I will try him on it tonight, hopefully he will avoid the lime!

    Putting Lime on fields

Our fields were "Limed" yesterday morning, we still haven't had any rain, and none forecast until saturday! So are we ok to turn out? The guy who did it says so, its not toxic to animals apparently?
