I know that and we do have lessons I am also very experienced and have had him for over 2 years so have done so much work in hand and getting him used to everything. He will be checked but I think he is feeling a bit well at the moment and was just over excited.
Long rein is a good idea will do that once I'm back up and running.. Thanks
I didn't pull him but it happened so quickly he ran back reared and then slipped so I don't think he meant to go over usually if he naps I release contact so I'm not fighting him
He was fully checked by the vet and had his teeth checked, he has had physio and his saddle fitted. Obviously don't know if not pain but I would be very surprised as he has been ridden frequently and not had any issues.
Hi All

In the last few weeks he has been going through a real 'cocky' stage but thought it...
Can anyone remember some books it was a series the cover was red and it was about a girl who had a crazy horse who i think was called Barney. She found a trainer who was in a wheelchair...
I can't find them or remember what they were called and it's driving me mad!! They were great books tho
I dont think the vet was wrong really to ask those questions. He has to do his job and maybe he didn't put it that well at such a sensitive time.
I had my old horse put down and had the vet out a few weeks before and we spoke about these things in advance and they did ask all of these...
Can anyone help....
I've got 2 saddles that i need to sell one is a pony saddle that is basically brand new it's perfect and was only bought for my older pony before he died so he could do the odd hack and the second is a stubben jumping saddle that again is perfect condition but i can not...
A brave decision to come on here and defend yourself and a brave and tough decision to put your horse to sleep.
You did what you thought was best and no one has the right to question you on that.
