Another one worth a look is Newhalls (http://www.newhallequestrian.co.uk/) just outside Exeter near Broadclyst. V good facilities, people seemed nice, and good hacking.
have been to see a chiro and would definitely recommend it. it did scare the life out of me when i first went as thought i was going to break! I'd had an achy back for a long time, and after three sessions at the chiro it felt completely different. from what i understand (and I'll admit i'm...
Hi
Am looking for a decent saddler in Devon (I'm based on Dartmoor) and wondered if you lovely people had any suggestions! Anyone used Hooper Saddles? Had a quick look on the Society of Master Saddlers website and this was one that came up
Thanks
Heather
I sympathise, have also paid a fortune for rug repairs in the past. I've recently ordered a lightweight turnout from Robinsons (cubert i think its called) - 1680 denier for around £50. Not arrived yet but hopefully will fit the bill
I need to look at some options for rehoming my mare, as it's looking likely there will be changes in my job and possible redundancy which will mean I just can't afford to keep her any more. The problem is, 2009 has been a disastrous year for her in terms of injury. She was diagnosed earlier...
I have one from here:

It's great, highly recommend it. Comes with a guarantee so if it does fade you get a new one and they're pretty much impossible to lose as they slide on to the collar. I've had mine for coming up to a year and it looks as good as new.
I'm similar - I placed an order at the beginning of December, and it took six weeks for the final item to be delivered. I didn't get any responses to emails asking where the item was, but at least it arrived eventually. I too swore never again, but was too weak to resist 30% off Ariat boots...
They have a website (www.nutwellsaddlery.co.uk) with some useful info on it including phone numbers etc. Always been easy to contact. Good luck, hope all goes well!
Not very close to Tavistock, but Nutwell are good. I tried various saddlers and had numerous problems with ill fitting saddles, but touch wood have not had problems since I've been using Nutwell. Other horses at the yard I'm at use them, and so far so good! They're based between Exeter and...
It might also be worth asking around at your local dog training club if they know of anything, and also might be worth trying any yards that have indoor schools. Most indoor schools near me are used by agility clubs so definitely worth a go.
I have a PE 450g for my wussy TB, and *touch wood* it's always kept her toasty and dry, and despite her best efforts its pretty much unscathed from frolics in the field
