Oh gosh no - I love mine. You have to be able to do the plait but if you are in a hurry then they are great. Of course they dont look great on the first attempt but then what does. A few times and you soon sort them out and you have to remember to keep them tight . As you can see I love them.

Sadly I think a lot of us have been in similar positions. You are not alone.
