I have the lavendar Raviera bedding as i was concerned that it would be eaten by the truffle pig pony we have and the lavender is a bitterant. It does smell a couple of days later still but its not over whelming scent wise. I now prefer it to normal bedding.

Usually about 8 hours but it depends on what is happening work wise and weekend routine. Of the 2 oldies at home, one i out from 5am-5pm and the other is then in. but once the field dries about the littler of the 2 will be out 24/7 again as he wont be sharing the yard
I used 5 last time i used shavings but have now switched to caviera bedding as i found it cheaper. It isnt as 'open' as a shavings bed but i find it easier to work with and doesnt stick in his tail like shavings and the muck heap is smaller.
