Sorry to hear about your situation - check out Turmeric User Group on Facebook a lot of people on there have had success treating sarcoids with a Turmeric paste which at least will help with that side of it if you decide to keep him.
Take a look at this site http://www.freestepsuperfix.co.uk/cushings.php as they do a supp that should enable you to compete and might be worth a try? I'm trying it at the mo as my boy is the opp to yours in that he has likely EMS as well as Cushings so I'm trying it to hopefully rid the fatpads...
I've just found this place on the internet and am going to try out their Super Hoof supplement as you don't need to feed huge quantities and it works out quite cheap per month plus no need for any extra supplements http://www.valleyviewanimalfeeds.com/apps/webstore/products/show/2400779 - by the...
HI Vicky
I live close by but so far havent found anywhere really close as either only offer full livery, are DIY but full or else no winter turnout but a friend of mine used to keep her horse in Lt Baddow where you have your own individual turnout and it is generous and nice size stables plus...
Hi I also own a pink skinned skewbald who is WB X and have had mud fever so bad resulted in vet call out :o(
I have tried various supps without success but a girl at saddlery recommended Immune-X by Global Herbs which is supposed to be good but I never used it as you are supposed to feed it...
I'd second A&P Fast Fibre as it says on the bag can be used as a hay replacer.

It is a bit of a minefield out there as there is so much choice and I've tried various supplements but have recently swapped to a balancer as it has all the vits and mins and can be fed quite economically. My two are on Spillers Lite Balancer with Happy Hoof as they are both in light work and...
Tiptree Equestrian does an assisted DIY so give them a try, they are a RS so have an indoor and outdoor school. Venn Farm in Tiptree supposed to be very good. My friend is at a yard in Lt Baddow which isnt too far and she is due to move soon as she is relocating out of the area so may have a...
If you do a google search it should throw back some useful ideas - also search under Lewis Blackburn's website as he has instructions on there - I think you may have to trawl through some of his published articles!
get a cheap paintbrush like a hoof oil brush and try that as its less messy for you and should hopefully mean more ending up on pony instead of the floor ;)
Camrosa is excellent for promoting hair growth just make sure the legs are totally dry before applying as it also acts as a barrier cream - its great for loads of stuff and I've used it for all types of scarring including mud fever www.camrosa.co.uk/
This site is really good, very informative www.naturalhorsesupplies.co.uk/
Other supplements that are good are Equus Health which you can buy online here http://www.insideoutequestrian.co.uk/page2.htm
why not email these guys as they do all-in-one feeds or if you prefer you can buy the balancer separately, I've just started using one of their feeds which includes the balancer and its only 12 quid a bag as I was fed up of buying different supplements as it was quite expensive and I was prob...
