Male cat spraying out of spite - HELP!

Oh I know it’s not really spite - I’m just annoyed!! I can assure you he’s not getting any less positive attention from me, he’s a wild hunter by night and by day he’s a very cuddly big boy - he spends a lot of time suffocating me with cuddles! Should have mentioned he is neutered...

Male cat spraying out of spite - HELP!

Hello, I’ve been having issues with my Male cat since November. When it started I couldn’t pin point anything that triggered it, though something may have happened outside to stress him. In that time we have since moved house, so a big change in his life came after the spraying started...

Hello, Horse potentially out of date for boosters (need to dig out passport), say I need to restart the course, how long before I can safely allow it to a pony club camp? Thanks!

    Ulcers/Fibre Beet/Fast Fibre/Wits End HELP!!

Does it?! I had no idea. Will use this tub of protein with what feed I have left over then switch to pink mash - hopefully it works! Thank you :) I wouldn't move him just for the winter as that would cause him more stress. He doesn't take easily to new herds, he has been in this one for a year...

    Ulcers/Fibre Beet/Fast Fibre/Wits End HELP!!

Definitely not frosty grass - this tends to start October time when grass dies off and is a constant throughout winter - haven't noticed anything which makes it particularly worse, such as frost! Used to have a Shetland that would get a mild colic on frosty grass so I always have my eyes peeled...

    Ulcers/Fibre Beet/Fast Fibre/Wits End HELP!!

Never thought of grass nuts, thank you! Oh yes, grass dropping off has a drastic effect on him, always has done. As soon as he starts getting squitty he starts getting fed, and when it comes back in again and he starts drying up he stops getting fed and I enjoy a summer not covered in...

    Ulcers/Fibre Beet/Fast Fibre/Wits End HELP!!

Hello, I have a 19yo Arab gelding who has suffered for years with ulcers. The minute the grass dies off to the minute it comes back his back end and legs are just a black mess. Have had a few vets over the years all say the same thing - there's not much I can do about it and I'm just going...

Light, comfortable breeches/Jods on a small budget?

I ride in £6 leggings from Tesco!! Got fed up spending a fortune on proper Jodhs when I find leggings do the exact same thing, I now spend money on good quality jodhs for competing - saves me a fortune! They last pretty well too, and if they do rip I don't have a complete meltdown about it...

    Arabs as Sport Horses

I love my Arab and wouldn't change him for the world. Some days I feel like we are going to conquer the world, other days I'm getting ditched on the deck. Some days he's sweet as pie, other days I want to sell him. Some days I gaze adoringly at him, other days I shake my head in disbelief. He...

    Feeding for condition with ulcers?

He's been on it for a while now and certainly not noticed it getting any worse. This only happens through the winter and he is better this winter than the last few. Last few years he was on speedi beet and Alfa a oil, cutting those out seems to have helped!

    Feeding for condition with ulcers?

Hi, I'm currently feeding my squitty Arab with ulcers fibre beet, conditioning fibre and micronised linseed. (One big scoop of each and one measuring cup linseed as he has adlib hay and not in work just now and weight is ok) He seems to be doing ok on this but wondered if anyone had any...

Such great information thank you both so much! Definitely considering it, will wait until spring, a friend of a friend keeps ducks so I may have the chance to get some chicks - which will make my 6 six year olds life complete haha :)

    Tortoises and shop bought flowers

I'm not sure actually, though if you're re-potting it in unfertilised soil and only using the new plant you've grown yourself then I would imagine, so! That is so cute haha I never thought of doing that, as I have a heat bulb! Can depend on the breed, and also owners choice whether to...

Livery yards in Dumbarton or Clydebank

I would avoid gryffeside, I had a friend stable her horse there and was very taken in by the fancy website and the owner 'talking the talk' so to speak. The reality was very different, and she left fairly soon after moving there. It has a very high livery turnover. I recently moved away from...
