I have been offered a horse for free from a friend and he is perfect but he has 6/7 sarcoids. They are all small and apparently they don't affect him. None of them are in the tack area and they haven't been treated. Should I get him? and should I get them treated by a vet? or leave them?

My loan horse has been lame in trot for a few weeks now. He is sound in walk but has a small swelling on his leg (Not sure if this has always been there or if its new as i have only had him a month) I gave him a week off thinking it would get better but it hasnt improved. The vet is coming out...

I am getting a 5 year old horse on loan. He puts his head up really high when trotting/cantering. What can i do to get him to lower his head?

Thanks... I dont think he has anything wrong with him. He has been kept in a field with very poor grass and hasnt been ridden.

I am thinking of getting a horse which is very underweight with no muscle and has bad condition fur etc. Has anyone else been in this situation? and did they see a big change in the horse once it was good condition? How long does it take to get a horse back upto weight and healthy?
