No it certainly doesn't look like ringworm!
He does sometimes get funny little bits of skin, and when I got him a year ago he was quite 'skanky'! But this just seems a little bit odd!
I have recently noticed (over the last few days) my 8yo TB gelding has got a couple of patchy bits of skin on his stifle on both sides. The skin is black and there is still some hair there, but he has a couple of patch areas!
I can't see any lice etc on him and the skin doesn't appear to be...

Yes I thought it was a little odd......but being new to this livery yard malarkey (as have just recently moved and kept him at a friends previously)I thought perhaps it was a normal request that I hadn't considered!!
