Hi all. I've just recently moved to belper in Derbyshire, and although at the minute I'm horseless. ..I'm looking to get another. But I'm wondering if there's any yards or stables around belper and surrounding areas that maybe do grass livery or diy livery? I'd rather source stabling...

she should make minimum of 14.2. Vet, physio and saddle fitter all say at least 15h. Ive had her almost 8 months, and she's grown 6 inches already! x

    Why isnt anything selling????

Aww bless. She's fine, so loveable but cheeky at times. Just a typical baby. Everything we do with her, she just wants to do her best. So if she does something wrong, she panics! Then comes for kisses to make up for it :)

She is rising 10 months old. Ive had her since she was 2 months old. Had to bottle feed her as she was taken from her mother at just 6 weeks old. Im asking £400 for her....i dont see how this is too much??

    Has anyone 'swapped' horses?

Sorry, its a permanent sale type thing? I have a set price what i want for mine, and so does the other lady, so we've sorted out the money side of things....but i was wondering what made it official? or like what would stop either of us (i know i wouldnt) demanding the horse back, or making...

    Has anyone 'swapped' horses?

As above really. How did you go about 'swapping' what did you do etc? Or do you think its a good/bad idea? Only asking as someone is interested in swapping her horse, for mine, but not sure really how we go about it?

Can anyone recommened a thorough, and very good chiropractor in or around sheffield, South yorkshire/NE Derbyshire. My current one, charges £45 for 10 mins work, and now 3 months down the line, we are back to square one, with a very tense back. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Livery prices....?

I have to agree, those prices are rather quite high! My yard is in quite an expensive part of the city (Sheffield) Our assisted DIY has just gone up to £47 pw (used to be £45) Everyone gets stable, turnout, use of menage, Haylage, Straw & we feed, change rugs, pick feet and turnout 5 days per...

    Chiropractors/Physio's

Your thoughts/advice/opinions and help required. I really need a new chiropractor, is anyone knows any in Sheffield or surrounding areas that will travel to my yard? The one i currently use, (wont mention names) But they come out, charge £45, and they are here just 10 mins! a quick poke...

A bit of fun - How would you advertise your horse?

This is rather a good thread! Mine would read (honestly): 15.1 1/2 MW irish show cob gelding, 11yrs old, although acts like a 2 yr old hacking alone. Brilliant in the school, very sensitive to legs (my legs) but take micky with everyone else, goes slow, doesnt particularly listen! Numerous...

Have any of you had the amount of hay/haylage reduced by your yard?

My liveries have always had 2 nets a day for turned out horses, and stabled horses get 3 nets a day. If they want more, they pay extra for them. Some have larger nets than others, but they never fill them full to the brim, so it works out equal. My first livery to move up started to put hay on...
