Totally agree.
This isn't the sort of thing I would normally support but I saw Jonty and Art at Badminton and was so impressed with their partnership.
It's easy to be cynical but sometimes it warms the heart to show a little faith in people.
So sorry for your loss. I had my horse put to sleep in June in fairly similar circumstances and totally relate to the random outbursts of tears and feelings of guilt. I still have them now but less often.
Look after yourself and cry as much as you need to but hang on to the fact that you did...
I'd love someone to do my stable for me. Unfortunately as my horse is well known for his dirty stable I don't get many offers.

I've got a 57 Sorrento xt which I love. Very comfortable, lots of toys and tows brilliantly.
I tow an Ifor Williams 510 and have towed 2 x 16h medium weights easily. I'm not sure about mpg but I get just over 400 miles from a tank (about £90) using it on a mixture of A roads & town driving.
I love horses. To me they are magnificent animals with a purpose, could be racing, eventing or a bit of hacking. How a horse is treated during its life is far more important to me than the manner of its death.
Do not assume there is only one kind of love of horses.
If you really don't see the difference between a horse and a child, you really need to get some perspective.
These are racehorses, bred and trained to do a job. It is sad when a horse is killed in any discipline but there are far more pressing welfare issues in the horse world.
