    Jockey Frankie Dettori admits To.....

Franke may not have made some of his better decisions lately, but, he puts 'bums on seats at races' & the punters are always waiting for that 'infamous' leap. Few wins behind him & all will (hopefully) be forgotten ..,

    David Trotman Testimonial meet report

Hope he is enjoying his retirement & yes I believe he did possess old fashioned politeness & as well as years of hunting experience.

    RSPCA in the news AGAIN

Hunting is not the issue here! The subject is the RSPCA and their record for killing healthy animals. It's to do with a 'whisteblower' had been discredited by them for what? Telling the truth? I may stand alone, but it's ALL appalling..!

UKIP - are the party for repeal

David Cameron, whilst I acknowledge is in a difficult position with the Lib Dems, would seem to have the charisma and leadership skills of a mole & Ed Milliband, well he's excellent at sending me to sleep! Nigel Farage is possibly a bit bonkers, but he at least seems innovative lively and has...

    RSPCA in the news AGAIN

Former RSPCA officer Aubrey Ward who blew the whistle on the unnecessary killings of healthy animals in a 'tell all' article in the Mail on Sunday has hung herself. Her final quote (after furious attempts by the RSPCA to discredit her) was 'I give up!' She claims to have been offered £1000's...

UKIP - are the party for repeal

Well I've traipsed the streets for the last two elections on behalf of hunting for the conservatives & was forwarded an email from a fairly well known MP stating that he had been elected on his own merit & the hunting folk had nothing to do with his election. Hmmmp !!! I for one am done...

Hedgehoppers - tell me about your addiction!

Some of the best hedges I have jumped are in Heythrop country. I do believe we jumped six consecutive hedges - absolutely thrilling.

    WHAT THE HELL???????? IS THIS

I'm sure I've sat next to something quite similar at a dinner party, certainly hairless & lifeless lol :-)

Hunt Balls - What makes them a success?

Isn't there always hunt politics?? One hunt ball I was due to attend was cancelled. Apparently, the chairman & senior master phoned the lady organiser informing her that they were boycotting it... Can you imagine such childish behaviour lol??

No more 'Thruster of the Week' articles?

Oh really? What a poor show. Thoroughly enjoyed reading those articles.

Hunt Balls - What makes them a success?

The lady I know who used to organise a brilliant hunt ball, used a well known show jumper's brother's band. Not only did it keep it in the 'horse world' family, but the band 'understood' hunting terms etc & entered into the spirit etc. Happy Days :)

RSPCA originally formed by pro hunt Conservative MP

That may be so, but are they trained in common sense? :-D
