I don't know how you're coping with this. I struggle when it's only a few days of waiting to pick a new horse up! I would have burst with excitement by now, especially with how lovely Cudo looks.

I'm so sorry you and your daughter had to go through such an ordeal, well done for persisting. There are so many of these dealers and they make me so angry as they are toying with peoples lives. I hope your daughter found a horse she deserved?

The thing with the ulcer and kissing spine bashing is that both conditions are very common and fairly easy to diagnose, so they are highly likely to be present both in "naughty" and well-behaved horses, even if they may not be the cause of all the problems it doesn't make them any less present.

I read an article somewhere that feeding a joint supplement from a young age, 3-4 yrs, can have some preventative benefits. I wish I could find the article again.

I use my PE liners under every random rug I own, so long as you clip the rear clips on (sometimes they line up better than others, but it doesn't seem to matter) they don't move even if you don't attach the front tabs to anything.
