Personally I would just say you want him back as your lami ponies need different management and you need him back to be a companion to your horse.
It’s not like he’s a ridden horse for her and there are loads of horses/ponies looking for companion homes - she could probably get one from a charity.
I would love to go to Los Alamos! What time of year would you recommend going? I’m not too worried about it being hot or cold but ideally would want to miss the rainy season ( if there is one)
Do you mean the yellow one? I have one that I bought for £40 in their sale. It’s ok - horse doesn’t seem to get too warm and it’s got a nice big belly flap, it’s got a few rips and the ear holes don’t stay over the ears but then they never do!
I wouldn’t pay £90 for it but if you shop around...
I had similar to this but we was hit with the car coming towards me. I fell off and luckily my horse was ok after being checked out when we got back to the yard.
I hacked out the next day with another traffic proof horse and although it was a bit dicey we got back to going out on our own...

I don’t think she’s gotten stuck or squeezed through somewhere as one of the sores is righ on top of her rump.
I have cleaned it with Hibiscrub and covered it with a fly rug as the flies were irritating it and I will see how it looks tomorrow.
No not DEET - it’s one with Icardian (sp?!) The horse is on my yard and I’ve gently washed it and turned out in a cotton fly sheet ( overcast and raining here ) it’s quite hot and clearly sore to touch, it’s almost like there is serum coming out which is sticky. The horse is fine in itself and...
